Egg Rolls - Easy Recipe

These Egg Rolls- Blow the Chinese-take-out
Out of the Water!Give them a try Tonight!

Using Fresh ingredients makes a better taste!







      Ingredients:

1 1/2 pound hamburger meat
6 slices of turkey bacon(Cut length wise into 3 strips then cut into 1 inch pieces)
1 small onion-chopped
1/2 head of a small cabbage-chopped ( 2 cups)
1 can Chinese bean sprouts -drained
3 packs boil in bag  white rice
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 cup water
1 Pack of egg roll wraps
1 cup cooking oil

     Directions:

In large skillet -medium heat: Brown hamburger and chop it into tiny piece
Add bacon , onion ,cover and cook till onions are tender-stir
Place the chopped cabbage evenly over the meat mixture
Pour  1 cup water over cabbage
Cover and simmer 15 minutes:
Add Chinese bean sprouts -stir-recover and simmer another 5 minutes
Cook rice in its own pan
Add rice and soy sauce  to meat mixture and mix well 
In Medium skillet: heat the cooking oil for frying
Tip*stand back for safety and use a wood spoon to test oil with one drop of water-if pop its ready!
while the skillet heats: 
Take the wraps ,place the mix in the center 
Fold one corner over to the other corner across from it
pull both sides over to the middle and roll over to the corner
Place on paper towels while you make the rest
When oil is ready , Gently place rolls seam down in skillet
We are just cooking the wrap so it cooks fast
Use tongs to flip them over and remove from oil onto paper towel
Can be served with sweet n sour sauce or duck sauce or add more soy
